Inspiration item 21 (2026-10-22). The Lookback (tlb.betteroff.studio), Better Off studio's year-in-review timeline, rebuilt with Zpryme's own photographs of past summits. Plan and guardrails in design/inspiration/through-the-years.md; the mechanics in design/inspiration/teardowns/lookback/ (README.md, VERIFY.md); the photographs and their accounting in _inventory/ and photos/.
"I want to take this site exactly pretty much as it is. It would be great to adapt to ours for a look back at ETS through the years. So if we can tap into the Google Drive for Z Prime, the shared drives should have photos from past events, ETS events. and we can use some of those and populate the timeline just so people can scroll through ETS through the years we'll call it something like that and add it somewhere to the site but this is a perfect way to showcase it the timeline … So if we could get some sub-agents cooking on this, that would be awesome."
v1-lookback/ · the strip as the Lookback has it (target and lerp, per-slide wrap, clamped tilt, ruler, flight into a detail view) on round 01's sky sheet; the title and the years written in the marker hand; written cards for the years without photographs; keyboard, phone and reduced-motion paths. Shots in v1-lookback/shots/, the reasoning and the open points in v1-lookback/concept.md.The strip runs 2014 to 2027: Eventbrite calls ETS27 the 14th summit, the Drive has summit folders from 2014, and ETS23 was the tenth anniversary, so there is no 2013 card. If the owner knows otherwise, it is one line of data.
The Lookback (tlb.betteroff.studio) rebuilt as "ETS through the years": one endless strip of Zpryme's own photographs of past summits, newest first, on the opening's sky-white paper, with the title and the years written in the marker hand. 107 photographs (2014 to 2019 and 2022 to 2024) and five written cards for the years without photographs (2020, 2021, 2025, 2026, 2027), 112 moments in all. Self-contained: `index.html`, `timeline.css`, `timeline.js`, the baked data `moments.js`, the opening's `marker.js`, `brush.js`, `paper.js` and `opening.css` copied unchanged from round 01, and the 720 px copies in `photos-720/`. No build step, no bundler, no library; the only network dependency is Google Fonts (IBM Plex Mono and Kalam).
